Garbage and Recycling Collection
Alternate Week Calendar: For Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, Blandford-Blenheim, East Zorra-Tavistock, Norwich, Zorra.
The following materials are included in the recycling program:
- Newspapers, flyers, magazines, catalogues, white and coloured paper, fine paper, junk mail and brochures, soft covered books
- Boxboard (cereal, tissue, detergent boxes, egg cartons, etc.)
- Cardboard, which has to be broken down into bundles no larger than – 30” x 30” x 8” (residential only)
- Metal Containers: aluminum beverage cans, steel food/beverage tins and cans
- Plastics Containers (numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6)
- Glass Containers: clear/coloured food and beverage glass

If you are placing recyclables at the curb that will not fit into the blue box, please place them along the side of the blue box. Be sure you place the blue box out though, as it signifies a stop for the recyclable truck. New and replacement blue boxes are available at the municipal office at a charge of $6.00 including GST.
